With the expansion of the new digital international programming offerings, Cox subscribers now have access to more than 25 international channels. The new lineup includes the South Asian (Zee TV and Set Asia), Russian (Channel 1 Russia), French (TV5MONDE) and Italian-language (RAI) programming.
Cox also expanded its Latino Pak offerings (Azteca America, Boomerang Espanol, Cine Latino, De Pelicula, De Pelicula Clasico, Discovery Familia, Disney XD Espanol, Gol TV, History Channel Espanol, MTV Tr3s, Mun2, Telehit, WAPA).
“This is another exciting opportunity to give our customers an amazing entertainment experience that they have asked for,” said Jonathan Freeland, Cox Virginia’s vice president of marketing. “Hampton Roads is a very diverse community, and we believe that these channels will be very well received by area customers.”
Additionally, Cox Communications customers in Roanoke now have access to 12 additional digital channels catering to the Hispanic community.
In addition to Cox, Comcast, Time Warner Cable and Cablevision have added more international, or ethnic, programming to their channel lineups.
