Cox Communications’ Ken Kraft has joined the company as vice president of Cox Business marketing. The position is new.
Kraft most recently served as executive director of channel marketing for the mid-markets business division at AT&T. At Cox, he will be responsible for the overall creation and implementation of marketing strategies, the company said.
“Ken has tremendous industry expertise, with a proven track record of delivering business-to-business marketing initiatives across the telecom sector,” said Phil Meeks, senior vice president of Cox Business. “His expertise will be particularly vital as we segment business customers to more effectively penetrate key industries and grow our share.”
At AT&T, Kraft led all wireline and mobility marketing campaigns and programs driving retention, acquisition and penetration, including the design and launch of a new “acquisition” sales channel.
Kraft came to AT&T with the acquisition of BellSouth. There he held several senior leadership roles in the company’s small business marketing, large business marketing, data product marketing and IP product management organizations. He began his telecom career at Sprint, where he held a variety of marketing and sales leadership roles.
