Cox announced that Lewis Simons was hired as executive director of online customer care, while Ken Bukauski joined the company as executive director of e-commerce.
Simons will be responsible for building, managing and leading Cox’s e-care efforts. This includes implementing strategic goals designed to maximize the value of using online support for Cox Communications’ customers. Additional responsibilities include budget/ROI planning and working with information technology (IT) to build and manage critical support systems.
Prior to joining Cox, Simons served as a senior manager for Dell, where he was responsible for support call center management, eSupport strategy development, support content management and online customer experience program oversight.
Bukauski will be responsible for building, managing and leading Cox’s e-commerce efforts. He will also be accountable for driving budget/ROI planning, implementing strategic goals and overseeing the development of critical IT infrastructure.
Prior to joining Cox, Bukauski served as a senior manager for BellSouth before being promoted to director of e-commerce.
Cox’s Steve Gorman, vice president of online strategy and interactive media, announced the hiring of Bukauski and Simons.
