Cox Communications has contracted with data center specialist QTS (Quality Technology Services) for colocation space in the QTS Wichita Data Center.
Cox gets data space it can use to support Cox Business customers, while QTS will be able to offer its customers ISP and transport services through Cox Communications.
Terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
“Cox views this partnership as beneficial for our customers and a great extension of existing broadband Internet and WAN meshed network services offered by Cox,” said Mark Tucker, vice president of Cox Business for Kansas/Arkansas. “We can provide high-quality colocation services in a secure facility that offers dual route diversity of Cox-owned fiber optics connectivity.”
