Cox Communications has added six HD shows from NBC to its MyPrimetime on-demand platform that lets Cox’s digital subscribers access shows for free the day after they originally air.
The new NBC HD content added to MyPrimetime includes episodes of “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “Community,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Mercy” and “Heroes.” In addition, Cox has also added NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” to the MyPrimetime lineup.
“MyPrimetime gives our customers anytime access to some of the season’s hottest programming in crystal-clear HD, whenever they want it,” said David Pugliese, senior vice president of marketing for Cox. “Plus, the addition of ‘Saturday Night Live’ to the MyPrimetime lineup ensures customers don’t miss any of the ‘water cooler’ moments for which that show has become so famous.”
With MyPrimetime, Cox customers can access hundreds of episodes from more than 20 networks, including ABC, NBC, USA, AMC, TBS, TNT, Comedy Central and Disney. Cox, the nation’s third-largest MSO, said the service was available in the vast majority of its systems, with the remainder launching by early next year.
