According to media reports, DelSolar Co. Ltd., the solar
energy unit of Delta Electronics, has withdrawn an application for
a listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, expressing fears that a
weakening demand for solar energy related products in the global
sector will hamper its fundraising efforts.
“Falling share prices of solar energy stocks are likely to
compromise the company’s fundraising initiative,” DelSolar
said. “After considering the market reality, we decided to withdraw
the listing application.”
