Delta Electronics announced its new high efficiency Delta DC Quick Charger, an advanced EV charging product from Delta EV Charging Solutions has passed CHAdeMO certification, the global industry standard for quick charging. As an EV user operates a dc charger the CHAdeMO standard regulates the charging interface, electrical signals, communication protocol, charging sequence, and safety mechanism. With its power conversion technology, the Delta DC Quick Charger provides 50-500Vdc/50kW output power and achieves a remarkably high efficiency of close to 95%, which the company says is almost 5% higher than CHAdeMO’s certification standard and surpasses the top dc chargers available on the market today.
