Duncan Cable TV in Vermont has elected to get its HDTV feeds from EchoStar Satellite Services.
With an EchoStar ViP-TV-connected headend, Duncan Cable will be able to deliver more than 45 popular high-definition TV channels.
Duncan Cable provides video services to more than 2,800 residents and businesses in southern Vermont.
“ViP-TV’s IP-encapsulated, high-quality HD channels easily integrated with our IPTV SDV solution, allowing us to expand our range of programming,” said Cliff Duncan, owner of Duncan Cable TV. “It cost-effectively fulfills our need for both HD and IPTV, giving us a competitive edge in the marketplace.”
EchoStar’s ViP-TV solution provides secure delivery of more than 250 TV and music channels in MPEG-4.
