Eagle Broadband Inc. and Lake Vegas Resort are pairing up to deliver a range of fiber-based broadband services at the resort and in other Nevada communities.
The joint venture, called Las Vegas Communications (LLVC), will bundle IP-based voice, video, data and security services to 7,500 residents and businesses planned for the resort community. The agreement expands a video, billing and support services deal Eagle first signed with the community in Q4 2003. The expanded deal is expected to pull in $15.5 million in revenue though 2010.
LLVC also has eyes for the larger Henderson area, which has a population of 225,000 and is home to 85,000 residences and businesses. The joint firm will also seek broadband deals with area municipalities, master planned communities, hotels, casinos and multi-tenant units throughout the state.
