MEMS device aims to accelerate automotive and industrial designs
High stability with tough environmental requirements— it’s practically the definition of industrial and automotive design. And it’s what Murata maintains is a key feature of their SCA3300 MEMS 3- axis accelerometer. The SCA3300 series has a non-linearity of 0.1 % and typical noise density 37 ug/√Hz. Mechanical over damping of the sensor enables extremely high performance measurements in harsh, vibrating environments.
“The SCA3300 is truly versatile and fits many environments and applications because it allows customers to use one PCB design and then optimize that design for their specific application,” says Antti Viitanen, Product Manager at Murata Electronics in Finland. Viitanen noted that this flexilibyt is particularly important in the context of frequently updated and changing standards and requirements in the industrial market, for instance.
