Former SeaChange International executive Ira Goldfarb has joined Envivio as its vice president of global sales and service.

In his new job, Goldfarb takes on responsibility for Envivio’s worldwide sales, professional services and customer support.

Goldfarb was SeaChange’s e executive vice president of worldwide sales and services until he left on his own accord late last summer after SeaChange moved to a regional structure.

Goldfarb, who started at SeaChange in 1994, held a variety of sales and executive leadership roles while at SeaChange, and his experience spans both software- and hardware-based system sales, as well as management of various technical service and support organizations.

“Ira has successfully grown the global sales organization and served as a key member of the executive team at an innovative company that is a leader in the industry. He possesses extensive knowledge of both our customer base and technologies,” said Julien Signes, Envivio’s president and CEO. “His talent and experience are great assets, and we are excited to have him on board at Envivio.”
