Cablemás has been rolling out Evolution hybrid IP set-tops and DVRs with security from Conax as it upgrades to digital.
The Evolution and Conax products will work with a video distribution platform provided by RGB Networks.
Conax has deployed four redundant, centralized content security headends for Cablemás. Evolution Digital, meanwhile, has shipped and installed more than 260,000 SD and HD set-tops, with an additional 320,000 on order.
Cablemás has more than 1 million subscribers.
