USA Technologies, Inc., a provider of wireless, cashless payment and M2M/IoT solutions, announced the expansion of its proprietary MORE rewards and loyalty program to partners nationwide, providing access to custom rewards and discount programs for all 333,000 locations connected to the ePort Connect service.
Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd., announced the vívosmart HR, a touchscreen activity tracker with Elevate wrist heart rate technology that provides a full suite of smart notifications. The vívosmart HR features a large sunlight readable display and 24/7 heart rate monitoring. When paired with a compatible smartphone, users can receive text, calls, email, calendar and social media alerts, control music and more.
The vívosmart HR activity tracker will be available for pre-orders today, and in U.S. Best Buy stores and at BestBuy.com on November 1. In Canada, Best Buy Canada and BestBuy.ca will also carry the vívosmart HR in November.
TESSCO reported financial results for its second quarter of fiscal 2016, ended September 27, 2015. The company posted an earnings per share of 33 cents and a quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share. Revenue was reported at $142.4 million, down $6.1 million year over year, but up from first fiscal quarter revenue of $134.7 million.
ORBCOMM Inc., a provider of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, announced that it has signed an agreement with Morsviazsputnik (Marsat), the licensed operator of Inmarsat’s mobile satellite services in Russia, to provide SkyWave’s IsatData Pro (IDP) service in the territory of the Russian Federation. This agreement opens the Russian Federation for the global heavy equipment Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) market as well as other key industries such as transportation, oil and gas and maritime.
FIS, a provider of banking and payments technology as well as consulting and outsourcing solutions, announced a technology agreement with SAP, in which FIS will integrate the FIS Mobile Payment Enablement Gateway solution with SAP Vehicles Network running on SAP HANA Cloud Platform. When used together with SAP Vehicles Network, the FIS Mobile Payment Enablement Gateway solution will allow consumers to pay at the pump from within their car or using their mobile phone.
