Frontier Communications has promoted Stephen D. LeVan to senior vice president, video content and delivery, a move that signals the company’s intent to unify the company’s disparate video operations.
He most recently was senior vice president of commercial sales, leading Frontier’s carrier sales and service team. LeVan joined Frontier in 1995.
Frontier operates both FiOS and U-verse platforms, acquired from Verizon and AT&T, respectively, as well as having a reseller agreement with Dish Network.
LeVan will also be responsible for streaming video product implementations and identifying and growing new revenue streams and opportunities, the company said. Specifically, Frontier wants to expand its video on demand (VOD) offerings, programming, strategic growth and marketing, as well as find ways to increase advertising options with its (VOD) services.
LeVan will be the liaison within Frontier on multi-platform distribution and cross-platform rights, the company said.
He will report to Ken Arndt, president and general manager of Frontier’s East Region. Arndt said, “Stephen and his team will direct the implementation of Frontier’s enterprise-wide strategy across digital, mobile and emerging platforms. In 2015, we plan to expand the reach of our brands, strengthen our marketing offerings, and deepen our relationships with consumers across all of the devices being used to engage premium content.”
