Live TV streaming service fuboTV has named Yale Wang as its new VP, head of North American marketing,
Wang joins the team after previously working for Warner Bros. Digital Networks where he served as head of marketing for the Warner Bros.-owned OTT service DramaFever.
fuboTV says Wang was a key player in using a metrics-driven approach to gain subscribers and drive the growth of DramaFever.
In his new role, Wang will oversee fuboTV’s North American marketing efforts, focusing on growing the service’s subscriber base by leveraging his expertise in data-driven digital marketing.
“Yale is one of the most creative, driven, and effective executives that I have had the pleasure of working with, and the ideal choice to lead our North American marketing efforts as fuboTV continues to expand,” fuboTV Chief Marketing Officer and Co-founder Alberto Horihuela commented. “With the recent kickoff of the new NFL season, along with the upcoming launches of the NHL and NBA in October, and key TV premieres this fall, Yale is joining us at a very important moment, as fuboTV truly redefines the way consumers can watch their favorite live sports and entertainment programming.”
Wang will report to Horihuela.

The company has been bolstering its executive team. In August fuboTV brought on Ben Grad, former executive director for content strategy and acquisition at Verizon, as the company’s new North American head of content and strategy.
