Videotron is taking aim at rolling out a new multi-game platform from Zodiac Interactive in the fourth quarter of this year.
The games platform will evolve and expand through a multi-phase rollout delivering a multi-platform converged entertainment experience to nearly 2 million subscribers. The games will be available on TV, the Internet and mobile devices.
“In Zodiac, we have found a proven, reliable partner for interactive entertainment,” said Myrianne Collin, vice president of marketing for the consumer division at Videotron. “In addition, as Zodiac’s software and solutions run on our environment and also are ready for next-generation technology, the company not only provides us with the means to excel in today’s hyper-competitive marketplace of tomorrow, but also the tools to extract maximum value from legacy systems.”
Last year, Cablevision deployed Zodiac’s PowerUp platform across its entire New York City metropolitan area footprint to enable interactivity in its services and applications.
