General Motors has announced that it will invest $119 million at its parts plant located in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The money will be used to provide the facility with necessary tools and equipment. The change will create 300 new jobs at the plant, which already boasts 500 workers. GM Components Holdings operates the facility.
In April GM announced that it will be investing $5.4 billion in its U.S. facilities. To date, $3 billion worth of the funding has been reportedly placed.
