Home Town Cable Plus has deployed ADC ‘s OmniReach fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) platform to pipe voice, video and data services to residential and business customers in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
The service package includes traditional local and long-distance voice, 217 channels of switched digital video and Gigabit Ethernet data. Home Town Cable Plus is powering its FTTP with a number of ADC components, including fiber distribution terminals, passive optical network fiber access terminals, passive optical splitter modules and wavelength division multiplexer modules.
“The FTTP products from ADC allow us to lower operating costs because we’re going to take less time to activate service for our subscribers, as well as test and troubleshoot our network,” said Home Town Cable Plus Director of Operations Bill Flanagan.
