Interactive Enterprise Limited (IE) is partnering with Wave7 Optics to deliver an automated, end-to-end management and provisioning system for operators of FTTx networks.
The two will integrate IE’s Conexon automated provisioning and management system with Wave7 Optics’ Last Mile Link (LML) FTTP platform. The combined products will enable service providers to provision and manage high-speed data, voice and video over FTTP networks in conjunction with the service provider’s existing OSS and BSS platforms.
The LML is an Ethernet-based FTTP access platform deployed by more than 70 service providers on five continents. The LML offers network operators the ability to deploy a single, flexible IP-based optical Ethernet network for voice, data and video (cable TV broadcast or IP) over a single fiber. The LML delivers symmetrical bandwidth – up to 500 Mbps, either dedicated or on-demand – with QoS management and data security.
Conexon enables operators to provision, activate and manage the delivery of multiple services including data, voice, video and wireless. Designed on an open architecture, Conexon encompasses a high-performance provisioning engine and a set of industry standard interfaces that can be combined to create a comprehensive solution that meets the individual business and technical needs of each broadband operator.
