IneoQuest Technologies Inc. has launched a series of new Geminus video monitoring, analysis and test solutions for building out video quality and service assurance networks and equipment.
The Geminus G2X Base, G2X Max, G10 Base and G10 Max are new hardware platforms with embedded software that provide quality and service assurance and test and measurement solutions for 1 and 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks.
Each system is available in a one- or two-bay, rack-mount form factor, and as testing requirements grow, can be field upgraded (base to max). The new solutions more than double the processing power of previous offerings using the same hardware.
The entry-level G2X Base system is suited for networks transporting up to 500 IP video flows and is upgradable to support 1,000 video flows monitored simultaneously. The G2X can be configured via a Web-based interface to operate as an R&D platform or as a simple remote video monitoring system.
Similar to the G2X, the G10 Base and G10 Max are scalable, real-time video monitoring, analysis, generation and test solutions and are available for 10 Gigabit Ethernet IP Video networks and component test applications. The entire Geminus family of products is manageable via IneoQuest’s Video Management System (iVMS).
