How do satellites affect the world as we know it today? The short answer is many ways, possibly more than most of us might have expected. These crafts have been floating around space for over 50 years, and are just now reaching a point in their history where they are having significant effects on our daily routines, lines of work, and several other mainstream facets that affect social, economic, and governmental operations. Satellites were originally designated to facilitate communication and coordination efforts among military and governmental entities.
Earlier this month, I wrote a piece that discussed some of the ways satellites will be utilized in the future. The post provided some notable methods and industries where satellite technology will play a bigger role, however it only scratched the surface of what else to expect from these innovative crafts.
