Inter Mountain Cable has upgraded its broadband delivery system with Sigma Systems’ Device Provisioning Manager (DPM) with support for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) devices.
Azar Computer Software Services worked with Sigma Systems to integrate its billing systems with the DPM at Inter Mountain Cable, which is using the combined systems to manage its service offerings, as well as cost-effectively scale as its subscriber base grows through automated device provisioning.
The DPM enables service providers to auto-configure and provision business and residential end-user devices, including SIP devices. Using an open API from Sigma Systems, Inter Mountain Cable’s billing provider, Azar, was able to integrate its CatvMaster billing system with the DPM for a streamlined deployment.
Sigma Systems will also integrate its DPM with the Arris SIP-based Touchstone Telephony Modem TM602.
Inter Mountain Cable delivers services across three states – Virginia, Kentucky and West Virginia.
