The Test Inverter PWR100 has been developed for the testing of PMSM, BLDC, asynchronous, dc, single-phase ac and three-phase reluctance electrical motors. This model includes a software package for parameterizing, commissioning and evaluation of the motors to be tested. Current and voltage values of the motors to be tested can be determined and evaluated. Optionally, the parameter identification of the motors (winding resistance, leakage inductance, EMF) and harmonic generation are also available.
The inverter works from a supply voltage ranging from 15 to 36 Vdc. Its intermediate circuit voltage (UZK) is between 8 and 100 Vdc, with a maximum of ±60 V with respect to ground (PE). Output voltage to 3 x 65 V eff (depending on the dc link voltage). Output current at 14 Vdc input is 150 A eff; at 42 Vdc, 60 A eff; at 100 Vdc, 20 A eff. Overload is 1.5 fold up to 10 sec. Output frequency 0 to 2 kHz with a PWM frequency of 10 kHz to 50 kHz, for space vector control. Commutation can be sine, block (optional), or trapezoidal (optional). The mode of operation for FOC is U/f-Control, with sensorless planned. In FOC:, field weakening is adjustable or automatic.
Inverter efficiency is greater than 90% at 100 Vdc, 20 A, 20 kHz PWM frequency. The inverter can measure current and voltage on all phases + DC, at a 16-bit resolution, to ± 1% accuracy. The inverter also senses short circuits, overcurrents, overvoltages (intermediate circuit, gate driver), undervoltages (intermediate circuit, gate driver), and over temperature conditions. Additional functions include measurements of phase resistance, phase, plausibility checks (parameter inputs, etc.), data logging and harmonics.
The inverter also hosts position encoders interfaces for absolute and incremental encoders, resolvers, Hall sensors, MR sensors sin.cos encoders, and others. Also included are digital I/O fo release, reset, status, and so forth, and analog I/O. The inverter packaging is IP20 and operating temperature range is 0 to 40°C.
