Interactive testing vendor itaas said today that it’s opening a new office in Ontario, Canada, and is expanding its headquarters in the United States and offices in India.
“Our continued investment in the expansion of our facilities and resources worldwide demonstrates our commitment to the iTV industry,” said Jaspal Bhasin, itaas’ chief operating officer. “As we continue to broaden our portfolio of services, we are committed to adding best-in-class resources and infrastructure to support our customers’ needs.”
“Our core team of experienced engineers at itaas’ Canada offices will initially focus on providing support services for both U.S. and Canadian customers for the deployment of iTV solutions, which include technologies such as EBIF, tru2way and IP.”
Itaas’ new office could help fill the void of Comcast-owned TVWorks closing down its operation in London, Ontario, which resulted in the loss of 125 jobs. TVWorks was slated to shut its doors this past Friday.
The additional space in its headquarters of Atlanta will accommodate an expansion of the lab and testing facilities and the growing number of itaas employees, as well as customer-focused work areas, the company said.
In India, itaas said it had outgrown its recently expanded offices and has added space to accommodate growing resources and expanded lab and testing facilities. Itaas said it is the third expansion of these facilities in the past three years.
