Juniper Networks has beefed up its security management capabilities with the release of the company’s Network and Security Management (NSM) platform.
The new NSM now offers centralized management for Juniper Networks’ J-series services routers, EX-series Ethernet switches, Secure Access SSL VPN and firewall/VPN and Intrusion Detection and Prevention appliances, as well as the recently announced Unified Access Control (UAC) platform.
Juniper said that NSM enables high-performance businesses to consolidate and simplify the management of their network infrastructure to increase security, reduce cost and realize operational gains.
“Since our network is critical to our success, we require a fast, reliable and secure high-performance infrastructure to support our growing operations,” said Glenn Hudler, an information officer for the International Finance Corp., a Member of the World Bank Group. “The Juniper Networks NSM delivers enhanced functions in a single application to manage our Juniper products, allowing us to significantly improve responsiveness to threats while simultaneously reducing operational costs and maintaining investment protection without compromises in performance and functionality.”
