The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) never fails to highlight exciting products and innovations. Adding to the long list of interesting CES standouts is the mesmerizing display technology of Kino-mo’s Hypervsn. This device won second place at CES’s Showstoppers LaunchIt, a competition that chooses the best demos, pitches, and products from the Las Vegas show floor.
The low-profile hardware can conveniently plug into standard outlets, providing a hassle-free assembly process. After properly gathering all the required components, 3D images shimmer in the air, right before your eyes. Using a wireless connection, users can remotely change the visuals that appear to produce an ever-changing holographic show.
Although these aren’t holograms per se, Hypervsn does generate quite a dazzling spectacle. Kino-mo’s technology uses LEDs to manipulate our persistence of vision (POV), deceiving the public with a clever optical illusion. By flashing LEDs at a high rate of speed, our eyes perceive a complete floating image, which successfully achieves a holographic effect.
Despite consumer interest, this technology is currently focusing on advertising, retailer, and business applications. Watch how Kino-mo’s Hypervsn enthralls the masses in the video below.
