International cable operator Liberty Global announced today that all of its corporate offices will now operate under the Liberty Global banner.
Liberty Global said its new corporate identity is summarized by the tagline it now uses on its website: “Connect. Discover. Be Free.”
Liberty Global makes its headquarters in the Denver suburb of Englewood, Colo., but has operations in 13 countries. The refreshed corporate identity now features Liberty Global’s “bloom” icon, which is also used by Liberty Global’s largest consumer brand in Europe, UPC, as well as by Unitymedia in Germany.
“Digital technology has forever changed the way that consumers communicate with one another and how they are informed and entertained,” Liberty Global President and CEO Mike Fries said. “Liberty Global’s refreshed corporate identity was developed to reflect how our market-leading broadband, voice and video services provide millions of customers with the freedom to connect to and discover their world.”
Liberty Global, which is led by chairman of the board John Malone, has 20,000 employees and serves 20 million subscribers across its footprint.
