The lucky four: Engineers get free trip to Germany’s Hanover Fair

April 7, 2016 By Lee Teschler

The world’s largest enclosure manufacturer Rittal Corp. has picked the winners of its “Win a Trip to Hannover Fair with Rittal!” contest:

Andrew Neeld, Automation Engineer of Sedro Woolley, Wash.
Jerry Flynn, Principal Engineer of Albany, Ore.
Christopher Relyea, President of Columbus, Ohio
Michael DeRosso, Sr. Engineering Technologist of Houston, Tex.

“Hannover Fair is the largest trade fair and industrial technology show in the world,” said Dean Arvanitis, Director of Marketing for Rittal. “It’s certainly a special event for Rittal. In fact, we’re one of only two companies to have a permanent exhibit in the facility that stands year-round. Engineers love going to Hannover to get a first look at what’s coming up that’s new, and we understand that not everyone here in the U.S. will get to travel to Germany for the show. Our contest gives a select few the opportunity to see the newest products for their facilities, learn about trends and spend focused time with an industry leader like Rittal.”

These four winners will have all expenses paid to join Rittal at the world’s largest manufacturing and technology tradeshow — Hannover Messe— from April 25-29, in Hannover, Germany. Winners were chosen at random from thousands of online contest entries.

Along with time at the Hannover Fair, the contest winners will be hosted by Rittal executives on a behind-the-scenes tour of the company’s local, automated manufacturing facilities.

Rittal Corp., headquartered in Schaumburg, Ill., is the U.S. subsidiary of Rittal GmbH & Co. KG and manufactures industrial and IT enclosures, racks and accessories, including climate control and power management systems for industrial, data center, outdoor and hybrid applications.
