MagnaChip Semiconductor Corp. announced financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2011. Revenue for the third quarter of 2011 was $200.4 million, a 1.6% decrease compared to $203.7 million for the second quarter of 2011, and a 4.3% decrease compared to $209.4 million for the third quarter of 2010.
Gross profit was $60.1 million or 30.0%, as a percent of revenue, for the third quarter of 2011. This compares to gross profit of 66.2 million or 32.5 % for the second quarter of 2011 and $69.3 million or 33.1% for the third quarter of 2010.
