Massillon Cable will be serving up video content across smartphones and tablets to its subscribers via Motorola Mobility’s Medios platform. The multi-screen, TV Everywhere offering from Massillon will make its debut before the end of the year.

Massillon, which offers triple play services to customers in Western Stark County, Ohio, is using Motorola’s Medios SecureMedia Encryptonite One HLS+ software, which is the adaptive streaming and content security component of the Motorola Medios Video Solution portfolio.

Massillon customers will be able to access thousands of titles—the names of the content providers weren’t provided—on their Apple iOS and Android devices. The Motorola platform transcodes and delivers the live and on demand content to the mobile devices via HTTP methods and infrastructure.
