Media Broadcast in Europe has upgraded its ATM network using systems from Ericsson as a migration path to an all-IP network.
Media Broadcast selected a range of Ericsson video compression solutions that enable it to streamline its multiple broadcast networks into one, including Ericsson’s AVP 2000 Contribution Encoder, RX8200 Advanced Modular Receivers and MA 5400 ASI-IP adapters.
Media Broadcast said the upgrade gives it a highly flexible solution for unified video, audio, data and voice transmission capabilities.
