Mediacom Communications released its Q2 2016 results on Tuesday. The operator reports being down about 11,000 video subscribers from Q1 2016, with a total of 842,000. That’s down more than 4 percent year-over-year. However, the video drop is about 1,000 less than it saw in Q2 2015, which was 12,000.
High-speed data customers are up 7.3 percent from Q2 2015. The final tally of phone customers was a 9.4 percent increase year-over-year. In Q2 2015, Mediacom reported 4,000 phone increases, and for the same quarter this year, it added 10,000.
Revenues were reported at $450.8 million, reflecting a 4.4 percent increase from the prior year period. Capital expenditures were $86.4 million, compared to $76.9 million in Q2 2106.
