The City of Windom, Minn., a municipally-owned electric, water and cable service provider, has selected technology from ETI Software Solutions to provision a slew of new broadband services.
Under the deal, the city will use ETI’s CableBridge platform to provision voice, data and video services, including video-on-demand via a fiber-to-the-home network. The city will also leverage the software to bundle the services under one bill.
That interfacing “will allow our residents to receive a converged bill for all services; therefore, our bill preparation and postage costs will be significantly reduced,” said Dennis Nelson, Windom’s city administrator, in a statement.
