LUXROBO, an IoT robotics company, is showcasing its customizable IoT smart modules called MODI at the CES 2019 in Las Vegas. This device allows users to customize and code their own smart homes and smart classrooms.
The MODI OS-embedded electronic device helps creators design their own IoT devices. MODI consists of 13 modules that can be assembled via a magnetic connector that allows the construction of different electronic devices.
Individuals can build DIY gadgets without any prior experience necessary. Now, anyone can become an inventor of robotic creations with simplified coding, modules that connect magnetically from all sides and functions, and color-coded types and symbols.
Instructional MODI Creation Guide Videos are also included, which offer step-by-step instructions on how to create different projects, such as an RC car or a security siren.
“We are very excited to be bringing MODI to a US audience for the first time. MODI is a product I devised from my experience of competing with 7 teams who became worldwide robotics competition champions by coaching them. Our goal is to make robotics easy and enjoyable,” said CEO Sang Hun Oh.
