Excelsys Technologies announced the release of the latest Ultra-Quiet products from its Xgen platform of user configurable power supplies. The new XBA, XBB and XBC models provide 200 W, 400 W and 800 W power and are UL and CB certified to EN60950 2nd edition. They are certified to the latest UL and EN60601-1 3rd edition medical approvals and deliver 200 W, 400 W and 800 W and respectively. With only 38.3 dBA of acoustic noise over all load conditions, this new family is the quietest modular, configurable power supply in the market. Each model comes in a compact 1U package measuring 260 mm x 127 mm and offers users up to 12 isolated outputs from 1.5 VDC to 58.0 VDC. All outputs are fully user adjustable and may be combined in series for higher voltages or parallel for higher currents. Standard Xgen product features include, high efficiency of 90 percent, instant custom configuration, individual output control, 5 VDC auxiliary, universal 85 V to 264 VAC input and a full suite of protection features including OVP, OCP, SCP and OTP.
