Narrowstep’s Chairman and interim CEO (and former RCN Corp. chief) David C. McCourt continues to remake the company’s executive ranks. McCourt has brought on Todd Narwid as senior vice president, worldwide sales. Last week, McCourt named Lisa VanPatten as the company’s new CFO.
McCourt, himself appointed only at the beginning of the month, is clearly concerned with building a team capable of managing rapid growth. “We now need to add people who have successfully scaled businesses in the past,” McCourt said in a statement.
“Todd, as well as Lisa VanPatten, our new CFO appointed last week, have both dealt with scale and integration issues successfully in past roles.”
VanPatten replaces Jill Thoerle, who served as the company’s interim CFO since July. She had been controller and VP of finance at Vonage.
Narwid will focus on Narrowstep’s long term sales and business development strategies. He was hired from RCN where he was president of the business solutions division. He led the company in revenue, EBITDA growth and cash flow while quadrupling the business to over $75 million within an 18-month timeframe.
