Two Nebraska companies have received $50,000 grants from the state to help them develop new products.
The Nebraska Department of Economic Development recently handed out the grants to help the EcSell Institute of Lincoln and Prime Communications of Elkhorn develop product prototypes.
ExSell President Bill Eckstrom says his company will use the money to help develop materials for sales manager training programs.
Prime plans to use its grant to develop new products bassed on its expertise in networking, surveillance, and information technology services.
