NewWave extends agreement with NetCracker Technology

April 24, 2014 By Mike Robuck

NewWave Communications has inked a long-term extension with OSS/BSS vendor NetCracker Technology.

The five-year agreement renewed NewWave and NetCracker’s ongoing partnership for advanced, converged revenue management and customer experience capabilities. NetCracker currently provides NewWave’s order-to-cash BSS solution in support of all of its services and territories.

As part of the new agreement, NetCracker is also providing a customer self-service platform for online transactions and account management. NetCracker said it also provides a standards-based integration capability that enables NewWave to integrate additional NetCracker and third-party components to its billing platform faster and with less cost and risk.

“Our most important commitment is to our customers. Each customer is a vital part of NewWave, and we are always looking for opportunities to improve their experience with us,” said NewWave CEO Phil Spencer. “We value our relationship with NetCracker and look forward to experiencing the benefits that its BSS solutions deliver for our business.”

NewWave Communications offers its triple play services to residential customers and businesses in the Southern and Midwestern United States.

“NewWave provides yet another example of how NetCracker’s customers in the cable industry continue to invest in our BSS/OSS solutions to operate, improve and grow their businesses,” said Sylvain Seignour, vice president, Americas at NetCracker. “We look forward to helping NewWave enhance its service offerings and deliver high-quality customer experiences.”

NetCracker’s customer roster includes Bright House Networks, Cox Communications, AT&T, Suddenlink Communications, and Time Warner Cable.
