The North Attleborough Electrical Department (NAED) has partnered with Motorola Broadband and Quantum Bridge Communications Inc. on the deployment of a fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network.

Massachusetts-based NAED will tap the network to offer voice, video and data services to municipal and school buildings in North Attleborough.

In June, Motorola and Quantum Bridge struck a deal to market FTTP hear to broadband service operators. The joint solution combines Quantum’s passive optical networking switching equipment, including its QB5000, with Motorola’s line of customer premises gear, including the ONT1000.
