Glandorf Telephone has installed Adtran’s broadband platform to provide broadband and video services to its customers in the northwestern part of Ohio.
Glandorf is using Adtran’s Total Access 5000 to deliver services both on its DSL network and via fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) lines. In those instances where it is not using FTTH, Glandorf is doubling bandwidth over bonded copper for rural residents who cannot be serviced by the fiber network.
Glandorf will be offering business-class services from the same platform.
“Our previous solution limited our ability to offer our customers the services they were looking for,” said Jason Kleman, IT manager with Glandorf Telephone. “We knew we needed to find a solution that would increase speed and serve more subscribers. Since implementing Adtran’s broadband platform, we are able to provide more reliable and efficient service to our customers, increasing customer satisfaction.”
