About 4,400 pellet stove heaters are being recalled after reports it caused fires.
The maker of the pellet stoves, United States Stove Company, said there were 16 reports of fire and property damage. No injuries were reported.
The pellet stove is mounted to a window. The recalled model, HomComfort 2400 24K BTU, has serial numbers from 0451 through 4420, 5681 through 5890 and 6301 through 6310.
They were sold at Northern Tool, Orsheln, Orgill Brothers and Rural King stores and online at HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com and NothernTool.com for about $1,000. They were sold between April 2010 and March 2012.
The CPSC said customers should stop using the pellet stoves and call United States Stove Company at 844-211-6025 for cash back or credit toward another purchase.
