Comcast Business has revealed several Ethernet service deals with startup incubators/accelerators in the last year, including some in New Jersey, Utah, Virginia, and Maryland. On Monday, the operator announced it is providing Ethernet services to Philadelphia’s The Microsoft Reactor, which is touted as a hub for entrepreneurs and technologists in Philly and is located on the ground floor of the University City Science Center’s corporate offices at uCity Square.
“The Microsoft Reactor is helping the Science Center achieve its goal of convening local business leaders, students, and entrepreneurs to drive innovation in the greater Philadelphia region,” Stephen S. Tang, president and CEO of the Science Center, says. “Fast, reliable Ethernet and WiFi services are imperative for this community and our startup businesses to explore ideas, share files, and present during events. Comcast Business provides that robust network service foundation on which to grow these enterprises.”
The 100 Mbps Ethernet Dedicated Internet service from Comcast Business will support the facility’s internal and external network and WiFi offering.
