With a little help from the ArtCenter College of Design in California, graduate students from Clemson University designed a new concept for a Mini concept car, according to David Tracy on Jalopnik.
The new concept, called the Deep Orange 7, is designed with short overhands and a spacious hatchback design combined with a carbon filter and aluminum chassis.
The Deep Orange Program has collaborated with Mazda, BMW, and Toyota to give students a chance to develop vehicles from start to finish.
The students were able to use BMW’s manufacturing grounds in South Carolina.
