RAF Tabtronics Announces Power Inductor Product Line for Hi-Rel Applications

RAF Tabtronics has announced the release of a line of SMD Power Inductors for high reliability applications. This SESI™ Power Inductor product line features a low profile ruggedized high-grade package with an operating ambient temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The product is highly customizable with either SMD or thru-hole pin-outs and flexibility in the number of terminations.

SESI™ Power Inductors can replace traditional magnetics in a cost-effective, low profile and high-grade package. All the material used for SESI manufacturing is compliant with the requirements of space or aerospace environments and have been qualified for severe environments by many contracting authorities.

Features of the SESI™ Power Inductor product line include:

• Standard functions available off the shelf

•Highly Customizable

• Low Profile (13.7 mm maximum height)

• Ruggedized, High-Grade package (-55°C to +125°C)

• SMD or Thru-Hole pin-outs / Flexible number of terminations

• Tape-and-reel or Pick-and-Place Packaging

• Improved heat dissipation / Heat-sinkable design
