Despite the passing of a midnight deadline, AT&T is reportedly still airing networks that are owned by Rainbow Media.
Both sides have accused each other of threatening to deny AT&T U-verse subscribers access to shows from Rainbow’s AMC, IFC and We TV networks as the two entities attempt to hammer out a new carriage agreement.
According to a story on Variety’s website, negotiations are still underway between Cablevision-owned Rainbow Media and AT&T, and the networks were still on the air after the deadline passed.
AMC is the home of “Mad Men,” which is slated to make its season premiere July 25.
Representatives from AT&T and Rainbow Media didn’t respond to inquires about the status of the negotiations by deadline.
