Roku announced today that the first 4K UHD Insignia Roku TV models are available starting under 400 bucks. Consumers can currently get them from BestBuy.com, and they’ll be in stores early next month. Here’s a rundown of screen sizes and pricing: 43-inch for $399.99; 50-inch for $499.99; and 55-inch for $649.99.
The 4K UHD Insignia Roku TV models combine 4K resolution with the 4K Spotlight Channel, which provides access to a curated selection of 4K entertainment from a variety of streaming services. In addition, a 4K UHD category that currently includes more than 10 streaming video services such as Netflix, PLEX, YouTube, UltraFlix and more is available within the Roku Channel Store.
The TVs can be controlled via the remote and through an iOS or Android mobile device with a Roku app. Consumers can share personal video, photos and music from the mobile device to the Roku TV. In addition, they can cast video from the Netflix and YouTube mobile apps to the TV.
