Kenwood is recalling its blenders (Kenwood Blend-X PRO, BLM800) because the lower blade can break.
While there have been no injury reports, consumers should stop using the product and contact Kenwood for a free replacement blade assembly kit.
Manufactured in China, the blenders were sold from August 2014 to July 2015 for approximately $400.

Unguarded Blades
Panasonic is recalling its metal cutter saws.
According to the recall, “The lower blade guard can get stuck in the fully retracted position and not automatically release to cover the blade.”
This poses a laceration hazard, although no injuries have been reported.
To rectify the issue, Panasonic is replacing the safety guard. Consumers must contact the company for a prepaid return shipping label and mail the saw back to be fixed.
Manufactured in China and Japan, the saws were sold from April 2014 to June 2015 for about $400 for the saw kit and $500 for the combo kit.

Detaching Heat Band
Nestlé Waters North America is recalling its water dispensers due to a fire hazard.
The hazard is created because the screws holding the heat band in the dispensers can break or detach and cause the unit to overheat.
No incidents have been reported, but consumers should stop using the dispensers, unplug the units, and contact Nestlé for a free replacement.

Insecure Internal Wiring
Technical Consumer Products is recalling its connected brand downlights due to an electrical shock hazard.
In this design fail, the internal wiring in the LED downlights can contact the downlight’s metal trim, which causes the shock hazard.
No incidents have been reported, but consumers should contact the company for a free replacement lamp.
Manufactured in China, the lamps were sold from June 2014 to June 2015 for about $35.

Detaching Bike Fork
Baja Motorsports is recalling its motor bikes because the front fork can separate from the wheel.
The company has received 22 reports where the front forks detached, 11 of which resulted in minor injuries.
Consumers should stop using the recalled mini bikes and contact Baja Motorsports for a free repair.
Manufactured in China, the bikes were sold from February 2015 to August 2015 for about $650.

Failure to Alarm
After receiving two reports that alarms failed to sound during installation testing, Bosch Security Systems is recalling its wireless smoke alarms.
Consumers should immediately contact their dealer/installer for a free replacement alarm. Bosch has contacted dealers and installers directly.

Overheating Battery Box
Lota is recalling its touchless kitchen faucets.
According to the recall, “The battery box used to power the faucet’s sensor can short circuit, overheat and/or melt, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.”
The company has received six reports where faucet’s battery box overheated.
In one report a fire started in the box, and in another, a consumer suffered a burn on their thumb.
Consumers should unplug and remove batteries from the faucet’s battery box and contact the compnay for a replacement battery box.
Manufactured in China, the faucets were sold from March 2015 to May 2015 for about $225.

Shattering Bulb Lens
Philips is recalling its halogen bulbs due to a laceration and burn hazard.
This hazard is created because the bulb’s lens can shatter in the lamp or the lens can fall and shatter.
The company has received 13 reports where the lens shattered, including five property damage reports that totaled about $700. Two laceration injuries were also reported.
Philips is providing free replacement bulbs.
Manufactured in China, the light bulbs were sold from November 2013 to March 2015 for about $10.
