SOMNIUM Partners with P&E Microcomputer Systems

October 14, 2014 By SOMNIUM

SOMNIUM Technologies has announced they have partnered with P&E Microcomputer Systems to bring world class hardware debug capabilities to SOMNIUM DRT – an innovative software development environment for embedded systems based on ARM Cortex technology.

SOMNIUM DRT’s patent pending technology automatically optimizes software in ways not possible with existing tools or techniques, whilst also providing full compatibility with industry standards for embedded software development.

P&E Microcomputer Systems are an industry trendsetter in hardware and software development tools for microcontroller devices, and have been working very closely with SOMNIUM to enable support for the Multilink all-in-one development interface hardware.

“P&E takes pride in its commitment to providing professional, low-cost development tools and prompt, knowledgeable customer support. SOMNIUM is changing the game in the embedded software development tools market with their disruptive technology and we are pleased to be an integrated part of their solution,” said Kevin Perreault, CEO of P&E Microcomputer Systems.

“We are delighted to welcome P&E Microcomputer Systems to the SOMNIUM partner community,” said Dave Edwards, Founder, CEO & CTO of SOMNIUM. “This will enable SOMNIUM licensees to have access to P&E Micro’s expertise in hardware debug solutions. SOMNIUM is bringing a whole new approach to the embedded software development tools sector which will enable embedded systems developers to introduce new products to market faster, with lower associated costs and increases in both performance and energy efficiency.”
