Electronics distributors that don’t just distribute

Electronics distributor Avnet wanted Tech Tour attendees to know that distributors don’t just sell parts these days. An example of what’s coming out of Avnet is this IoT module that the distributor designed. It is powered by AT&T IoT services that are available through Avnet. The board communicates through several wireless formats but was forced to just use cellular data for this demo. There’s a starter kit available that includes the Avnet device (M18Q2FG-1 LTE system board), antennas, power supply, AT&T SIM, and miscellaneous hardware.
