Darth Vader Infant Bodysuits Pose Choking Hazard
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is recalling about 10,000 units of its Darth Vader and Disneyland 60th infant bodysuits.
According to the recall, “The snaps on the bodysuits can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.”
Although no incidents or injuries have been reported, consumers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled infant bodysuits and contact Walt Disney Parks and Resorts for instructions on returning the bodysuits for a full refund.
Manufactured in Guatemala, the bodysuits were sold at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, the Treasure Ketch Shop on the Disney Wonder, and Mickey’s Mainsail located on the Disney Magic, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy cruise ships from February 2015 through November 2015 for about $20.

Unstable Stool Legs Can Break
West Elm is recalling about 6,000 units of its Saddle bar and counter stools, because the legs on the stools can break, posing a fall hazard.
The company has received six reports of the stools breaking, including one injury.
Consumers should stop using the recalled stools and contact West Elm for information on returning the products for a full refund.
Manufactured in China, the stools were sold at West Elm stores, online at www.westelm.com, and in the West Elm catalogue nationwide from July 2013 through November 2015 for between $370 and $500 for single stools and between $740 and $1,000 for a set of two.

Overheating Music and Lighting System
Seasonal Specialties is recalling about 2,000 units of its Philips Harmonize Synchronized Music and Lighting System Model, because the product can get overloaded and overheat, posing a fire hazard.
Two reports of the control unit overheating, melting, or smoking have been received by the firm; however, no injuries have been reported.
According to the recall, consumers need to stop using the product, unplug it, and contact Seasonal Specialists for a prepaid label to return the lighting system for a full refund.
Manufactured in China, the product was sold at Menards store in Ill., Ind., Iowa, Kan., Mich., Minn., Mo., Neb., N.D., Ohio, S.D., and Wis. from August 2015 through November 2015 for about $120.

Decorative Ornaments Pose Laceration Hazard
Cheryl & Co. is recalling about 25,000 box sets of its Jingle Bell ornaments with cookies and confections due to a laceration hazard.
According to the recall, “The decorative cutouts on the ornament have sharp metal edges that pose a laceration hazard to consumers.”
Manufactured in China, the ornaments were sold exclusively at QVC televised shopping programs and online at www.QVC.com from November 2015 to December 2015 for about $55.
Currently, QVC has received 140 reports of consumers who have cut their fingers while handling the ornaments, including four consumers who required stiches.
Consumers are recommended to immediately stop using the ornaments and return them to QVC for a full refund.

Strollers & Replacement Top Seats Recalled Due to Choking Hazard
Britax is recalling approximately 49,000 units of its B-Ready strollers and replacements top seats that were sold separately.
According to the recall, “The foam padding on the stroller’s arm bar can come off in fragments if the child bites the arm bar, posing a choking hazard.”
The company has received 117 reports of children biting the arm bar foam padding, including five reports of children choking or gagging on foam fragments.
Consumers should immediately remove the arm bar from the strollers and replacement seats and contact Britax for a free black, zippered arm bar cover and a warning label to apply to the strollers and replacement top seats.
Manufactured in China, the products were sold at Babies R Us, buybuy Baby, Target, and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Diapers.com and other websites from April 2010 through January 2016 for about $500 for the stroller.
The replacement top seats were sold by Britax from April 2010 through January 2016 for about $150.

Breaking Infant Car Seat Handle Poses Fall Hazard
Britax is recalling about 71,000 units of its Britax B-Safe 35 and B-Safe 35 Elite infant car seats and travel systems.
According to the recall, “The car seat carry handle can crack and break allowing the seat to fall unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury to the infant.”
The company has received 74 reports of handles developing fractures, cracks, and/or breaking while in use, including one report of an infant who received a bump on the head when the carrier fell to the ground.
Consumers are urged to stop carrying the car seat by the handle until the repair is installed. Everyone who has previously registered their product with Britax will automatically receive a free repair kit.
Manufactured in the U.S., the car seats were sold at Babies R Us, buybuy BABY, Target, and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Diapers.com and other online retailers from November 2014 to January 2016 for between $210 and $250.

Overinflated Bike Tires Crack, Pose Laceration Hazard
Chillafish is recalling about 29,000 units of its Chillafish BMXie, Chillafish Jack, and Chillafish Josie balance bikes.
The overinflated tires can cause the wheel rims to crack and send pieces of the plastic rim flying, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.
Currently, Chillafish has received 19 reports of plastic separating from the rims, including two reports of consumers being cut by flying plastic when pieces of the plastic rim were expelled.
According to the recall, consumers should stop children from using the recalled bikes until the tires are deflated to a pressure at or below 32 psi and contact Chillafish for a free repair.
Manufactured in China, the bikes were sold at Sam’s Club stores nationwide and online at Amazon .com, Target.com, and ToysRUs.com from November 2013 through November 2015 for between $55 and $80.
